PDF editor that works in your browser

Open a PDF and change it straight away: stamp text over it, number the pages, rotate them, throw out the pages you don't need, add your signature or set a password. Every change happens on your own device, so the file is never uploaded anywhere.

Files stay on your device — no upload, no sign-up

What you can edit

This editor covers the changes people need most often: stamping text such as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL across pages, adding page numbers in the corner you choose, turning sideways scans upright, deleting or splitting out pages, drawing a signature onto a contract, and locking a finished document with a password. Images can be turned into a PDF too, and finished PDFs can be turned back into pictures or a Word document.

Why editing in the browser is safer

Most free PDF editors send your document to a server, keep a copy for a while, and hand you a download link. Here the work is done by your own browser, so contracts, invoices, medical letters and ID scans stay on your machine. There is no account to create and nothing to delete afterwards.

What this editor does not do

It does not rewrite the original text inside a PDF paragraph by paragraph — that needs the source document. If you need to change wording, convert the PDF to Word, edit it there, and print or export back to PDF.

Questions people ask

Is this PDF editor really free?
Yes. Every tool is free with no account, no daily limit and no watermark added to your result.
Do my files get uploaded?
No. Your PDF is read and rewritten by your browser on your own device, so it never leaves your computer.
Can I edit a PDF on my phone?
Yes. The tools work in mobile browsers as long as you can pick the file from your phone's storage.
Can I change the text that is already in the PDF?
Not directly. Convert the PDF to Word, change the wording there, then save it back as a PDF.
